Maybe it's the influence of Byron Erickson and Bob Foster? 
BTW: does anyone know what Foster _is_ doing at Egmont?

It's unbelievable there weren't more Gottfredson reprints in Denmark!
In Holland, France and (not to forget) Italy, there are even special
series with the oldest Gottfredson stories. I would expect that they
were reprinted all over Europe...

Which brings me to the next question: who invented Grandma's car? Was it in
