Hi everyone!

Two questions for you today:

1. Anyone here know about a story called the Ancient Mariner, beeing used as
a basis for a Barks story?

2. In the story where DD becomes a song writer, provoking avalanches by
playing his song on a jukebox in a hotel at the bottom of a valley, what are
the original lyrics? In Norway they're translated to:

Oh, give me a grave in the icy green sea,
let the waves silence my crying!

and in Finland (from Ari P K Korhonen, who came up with this question on
rec.arts.disney):

and give me a grave beneath the sea
when the boogeyman of old age freezes my blood!

BTW, in the quiz show Geir Hasnes was referring to, his topic was norwegian
DD&Co. The show beeing very popular over here and the topic also, he has
become quite well known to many norwegians (especially since he has been in
the same show twice, after someone challenged him in "his" topic). I was
kind of wondering if you had heard about this list, Geir, I have thought
about sending you a mail and telling about it, just in case. Welcome you are
(for all I know you may have been here much longer than me...). Perhaps we
should start a disney at sintef.no :-)
