I like your "tons of wisecracks, plot tweaks, and Barksish phrases and
comments which weren't in the original" style of dialogue - I hope
that we can see your take on this story some day.

I, too, am curious to discover what Bruce Hamilton's duck writing is
like, but given his alleged fondness for the "Mickey and the Slueth"
stuff, I must confess that I'm also a little worried.

There's still a lot of blue in this scene, but it's not *all* blue.

There is also an unusually colored panel that may be a mistake, or may
be intended to look "artsy" - on the panel where Donald is being
chased by Blackjack across a bent-over tree, the night sky is white
above the tree but dark blue beneath it. I suspect that this was
intentional, but I find it to be a little odd.

>BTW, is there anything else in there besides the Tony
>Strobl story?

Barks' "Back to the Klondike,"
Strobl's "Uncle Scrooge and Money,"
Danish (Halas + Avenell) "The Sultan of Phud,"
Strobl's "DD in Twice the Fun"

(One good story that I've already read, one OK story that's historically
 interesting, and two not-that-great stories.)

>Dr. Oofgay is German)

So what nationality *can* a bad guy be? Do *all* bad guys have to be
white Americans? Sounds a little prejudiced to me... :-)
