On the subject of Marvel's Disney titles...didn't the following just happen?

(a) Marvel buys Welsh Publishing, a small outfit that publishes a slick Little
Mermaid magazine for regular newsstand and grocery store distribution

(b) Marvel cuts back a whole bunch of titles, including its Disneys, and lets
the editors go

(c) Marvel turns the Disney titles over to Welsh Publishing

(d) Marvel cuts Gladstone loose from its distribution, leaving Bruce Hamilton to
find a new arrangement elsewhere

At least that's the way I heard it, but then, nobody tells me anything. Anyway,
this development would seem to put a definite end to the fears I've heard some
people express: that one day Disney would suddenly wonder why it's comic-book
rights are spread between two companies, and give Marvel the whole works the
next time the contract comes up for renewal. Doesn't look like Marvel wants any
of it now.
