But I thought the first 3 digits were always fixed: 176. That only leaves
6 combinations. As David explained, this is only true in Barks' later
stories.

Jan Gulbransson (note the spelling) always has that kind of weird
motivations in his stories. It's not the British translation. But
his artwork and gag situations are quite good.
