Serieforlaget, the Disney publisher in DK, started publishing "Mickey 
Mysterier" with MM as a detective and MI as a TV host 1994-01-03, so Egmont 
must have started in 1993. I'll run a check on all the codes tonight.

One of the good Mickey Mysteries stories is "En for olie og olie for en" 
("One for oil and oil for one") where Phantom Blot has complete control of 
the city's oil supplies, and uses that to take over all business in town. To 
keep the grip, PB has to get rid of a scientist, that has figured out how to 
make oil out of plastic from trash dumps.

Many of these stories seem to involve financial (usually non-violent) crimes.

Oh, and "Operation Atlantis" wasn't bad either. It's building on a plot I 
remember from a Superman movie.
