Re: Cross-overs.

During their reign, Disney did something like what you describe, where
they published the "Time Tetrad" in Donald Duck Adventures #17, WDC&S
#564, Uncle Scrooge #259, and Ducktales #17. For people who disapprove
of such things, this particular cross-over instance was even more of
a rip-off, as, despite claims in the "between the lines" column of the
comics that this was one story ("an epic story that spans all four of
[Bob Foster's] regular monthly titles"), the "Time Tetrad" consisted of
four unrelated stories featuring Gyro's time machine.
