Sad news.... again!

I believe the saddest news about Mr. Hanna is that he used to produce such
wonderful works as Tom & Jerry on the movie screen, and still kept me
laughing at Ruff and Reddy and Huckleberry Hound on TV, but he will mostly
be known for such dreck as Scooby Doo and Josie and the Pussycats. Even the
Flintstones had their day early on, but fell into an all too familiar
pattern of "Flintstone babies" and pseudo-rock bands that resurfaced in
every single one of the Hanna-Barbera works of later years. (Did we really
need Scrappy Doo and Pebbles and Bam-Bam?)

I cannot believe that Hanna did not look back at what he was once able to do
and cry. I know I do.
