R: The color of money in scrooge's money bin

I think they're yellow,

1. because it makes coins easier to recognise (like practically any
small yellow spot in d-comics probably is a coin; similarly the paper
money is (almost) always green). 

2. yellow is warmer colour than white. Swimming in money bin is supposed
to look fun, which is probably wouldn't if money looked like snow.
Actually the colour is just metal, which would make them light grey,
even worse choice.

The originals were in black and white, so for Barks this wasn't a
problem.
