subscriptions to USA

For Shelley: I know that VNU (Dutch Disney Comics) will sell you a subscription 
to anywhere in the world (which has postal connection), as long as you pay for 
the books and required postage.  I am sure Egmont (Denmark) will also do tht 
(not so, David?). Probably, many of the other publishers will, as well.

Grandma Duck should be DONALD's grandmother, the Nephews' Great Grandmother, 
and only related to Scrooge by marriage into the family.  Other people in the 
family probably address her as "Grandma" because she is now the Matriarch of 
the family.  

I grew up with an extremely large group of cousins just after the Second World 
War. Our common Grandmother was the Matriarch of a big clan.  Our parents 
called her by our ethnic name for "grandma" (Oma) when they were in OUR 
presence so WE wouldn't be confused. Of course, they called her Mama, when we 
were not present. 

Some writers and artists have used "Elvira" for her Christian name. I do not 
believe Barks gave her a name.
