Scrooge vs. Euro

Ah, but someday, in all likelihood, most of the world's nations will go
cashless. We've already reached a point in the U.S. where even grocery
stores rely as much on debit card transactions as on cash. Debit cards can
even be used in soda machines. The day may come when ALL currency is
worthless, and the only money that can be spent is that which is deposited
in banks.

What will Scrooge do then?

My guess is, he'll let the final day for turning it in come and go, and will
retain his Money Bin as his own private swimming pool. Then he will truly be
only a poor old man.

Bah! Kid talk! No man is poor who can do what he likes to do once in a
while! And he likes to dive around in his money like a porpoise! And burrow
through it like a gopher! And toss it up and let it hit him on the head!

Quack, Don
