Yes, you are right. The number is a hypothetical number assuming that no
one of my forefathers had the same ancestors. In reality they had, of
course, so the real number reduces dramaticaly. But nevertheless it
might be that at some point in the past, possibly 100.000 years ago,
there lived a (human) being which is the ancestor of all living humans
today. Or a single protoplamic cell 3.000.000.000 years ago which is the
ancestor of all living beings on earth today, including plants.
