Moacir Rodrigues-"Master of Comics"

Hello there!

Moacir Rodrigues, most know by his incredible Daisy covers during the 80's
(see http://utenti.lycos.it/vilaxurupita/) and by his contribution with
Disney merchandising (he designed the Disney Babies and did lot's of José
Carioca's drawings for his 90's licencee) will receive the brazilian premium
"Angelo Agostini" as "mestre do quadrinho nacionais" (master of national
comics).

Many others brazilian Disney drawers received this premium and nomination
(of course most of then are know by others works, not just Disney):

1984: Rodolfo Zalla (he did the brazilan Zorro stories)

1986: Sergio Lima (Ducks, very "barksian" line)

1988: Álvaro de Moya (did the 50's covers of "Pato Donald" and "Mickey")

1990: Primaggio Mantovi (drawer, writer, publisher)

1991: Izomar Camargo Guilherme (did lot's of covers during the 70's)

1992: Waldyr Igayara de Souza (writer, drawer and inker-Abril publisher from
1969 to 1989)

1994: Ivan Saidemberg (writer), Paulo Fukue, Roberto Fukue (drawers)

1996: Oscar Kern (writer, during few time on the 70's-he created the "Senhor
X" character)

2000: Renato Canini (you know him! ;-)

2001: Claudio de Sousa (writer), Ignacio Justo (drawer)

Alexandre Silva (who did color on many brazilian stories) and Lilian
Mitsunaga (who did most of the lettering here during many years, now she do
"Witch") will receive premiuns too (Arte técnica de 2002-"Technical art from
2002)

The premiation will be in February!
