And even more, some certain factors are making Mau Heymans' stories
different from each others by their drawing-style:

At first numerous of different people have inked his stories. (Peter
Colle, Jaap Stavenuiter, Bas Heymans, Frans Leenheer, the Comicup
studios and of course Mau Heymans himself)

Secondly the stories we're seeing in our weeklies (Finland, Norway,
Sweden) are from different years. Some of them are brand new while
some are much older - and I do think Mau Heymans' drawing-style has
developed during the years.

Some of his earlier stories from the early 1990's had lot's of visual
tricks and vigorous drawing. Since the scripts were also relatively
good I consider many of these early works as true masterpieces.

But on the other hand I must say I'm truly disappointed the level of
artwork by his most recent stories. No more unsymmetrical panels (for
many years actually) - but so much less efforts to draw characters
vigorously. He's art has become somekind routine work. Shortly and
sadly just lame "bulky ilk" from Bulkyilkland's surplus storage n:o 5.

Or is this recent style just some kind of latest fashion in Northern
European weekly comics? Simplification and decreased amount of details.
Back to retro - and so on? (Is so, I totally dislike it.)
