AC, what was the exact typing here? I ask because this was an auction mentioned.

In the Norwegian translation, the auctioneer said that you get AT LEAST 200 000
kroner for one of them on a real big auction - and that all 12 pens in the
original box would have an OPENING OFFER at 2,5 million kroner.

Meaning, most likely Scrooge will get 5-6 million kroner for the box - and that
if he was lucky, he could try selling one of them and get several millions for
it from a crazy collector.

And saying "you COULD get half a billion kroner for it" _could_ have the same
meaning as "the opening prize will be 6 million kroner", which is why I now ask
you what the exact typing was. Was this half billion a minimum price, a maximum
price or an exact price?

And, I have to ask you, AC... when saying "billion", do you think of an
European billion (10^12) or an American billion (10^9)? I assume you mean an
American billion, but I still have to ask.

Question to Don:
Speaking of pens... When Scrooge says on page 2 that "I got [the pens] from a
salesman"... Is that a reference to US 24 "The Magic Ink"? At least that was
the first thing I thought of the second I saw this frame. OK, I don't remember
much of that story, so if Scrooge threw out the pens in the end of the story,
or they never came was a box, or there was only one pen, I'm sorry and
obviously wrong. Still, my question is: Are these pens a reference to US 24?

Best,
Olaf the Blue
