publishing stories? Romano Scarpa, Giorgio Cavazzano, Massimo de Vita,
Sandro del Conte, Luciano Botaro, Luciano Gatto, Sergio Asteritti?

All of the above creators are still active. Here are their latest
appearances in the Italian weekly:

Cavazzano: "Topolino" 2577 (19/04/2005)
Gatto: "Topolino" 2573 (22/03/2005)
Asteriti: "Topolino" 2572 (15/03/2005)
Bottaro: "Topolino" 2567 (08/02/2005)
M. De Vita: "Topolino" 2560 (21/12/2004)
Del Conte: "Topolino" 2543 (24/08/2004)

Romano Scarpa doesn't draw for Disney Italia anymore, but he's producing
stories for Egmont. Last month's "Zio Paperone" printed his "Sequel Machine"
story, written by DCML-member Olaf Solstrand.

And, speaking of classical Italian masters, you shouldn't forget:

- Giulio Chierchini, who inked his first Disney story 51 years ago (!). His
latest effort was published in "Topolino" 2569 (22/02/2005).

- Rodolfo Cimino, who started out as Scarpa's inker in 1959, only to become
one of the most prolific Italian scriptwriters (latest story in last week's
"Topolino", no. 2576).

Ciao,
Armando
