Joe Torcivia commented, re FORBES' listing of Scrooge as the richest fictional character:

<If they rank Scrooge ahead of Richie Rich, they're probably not clowns! :-)>

Actually, shouldn't they have flagged RICHARD Rich, Richie's DAD, as the primary asset-holder of the Rich family? Granted, Mr. Rich isn't nearly as well known to the general public as Richie, but this is sort of like giving the egg credit for the chicken that laid it. :-)

<<Further, you've got to wonder where the "other pretenders to Scrooge's throne" like Rockerduck, Gotrocks, etc. fall... probably WAAAAY down there behind FAMILY GUY'S Carter Pewterschmidt, TINY TOONS' Montana Max... and even Fred Flintstone's rich uncle from "Texa-rock"! How sad for them!>>

You didn't even mention Mr. Lodge of ARCHIE fame, who (in the form of his daughter Veronica -- see above) had appeared on this list in the past! Evidently, Mr. Lodge has had a much harder time holding onto his family's "old money" than Scrooge has had holding onto HIS.

Happy Holidays to everyone on the DCML!
