Slippery sales...

The sales lists only show comic shops are ordering fewer copies - they never show how many are sold to customers.  It's too bad that fans are using this data to make snap judgements about the fate of the lineup. It happens. A lot of bad comics are considered hits only becasue the stores are over-ordering copies. Then they're stuck with unsold merchandise and more new books offered that resemble the turkeys.
Don't get me wrong - a comic with higher order numbers may be a genuine hit and a good comic, but a lot of junk sneaks through because of how people think they see it.
