If compilations are printed as compilations, I suppose that would be
cheaper than printing each issue separately. But if they build
compilations by assembling separate issues together, it might be really
just a marketing trick, to make the compilation more appealing.

How are translations handled in the disney comics world? Each publisher
must do its own, or once one is done other publishers can use it? Or are
those sometimes sold between publishers?
