Hello!

I'm working on Scrooge's doubles, from all
creators.

I'm going to tell you what I've found in my little
comics collection. If you know others, please tell me!!

Scrooge McDuck, the Richest Duck in the World, a
little peevish and stingy, but we saw on several occasion, especially with a
Goldie O'Gilt, that his heart was gold... He has prospered honestly (except one
time...). Here are all (?) his doubles...

The first, well known, is John D. Rockerduck,
created by our dear Uncle Carl in 1961, and continued by many italian
creators... He would have a good heart, without Scrooge. He is a little younger
than him , and they first met eachother around 1884, when John's father shows to
Scrooge how to search for gold...

The second from Barks,1956, often mistaken with
John, is Flintheart "Flinty" Glomgold. Flintheart, living in Limpopo, South
America, think HE is the Richest Man, but Scrooge allways beat him in their
stupid challenges. He does the same things that Scrooge: He's got a Money Bin,
he keeps his first rand..., and he is almost as rich as Scrooge, but this
"almost" makes the difference. This double has never acted honestly, since his
first meeting with Scrooge, around 1896.

The third, also by Barks 1965, is the fantom of
Notre Duck (real name unknown). Under his black clothes, which make me think a
little about the Phantom Blot or the Black Knight, he's got EXACTLY the same
face than Scrooge. He is good. He buids a reproduction of the Cathedral with the
coins thrown in the fountain.

I consider the DonRosa's D93574 Scrooge when Donald
doesn't exist, as a double from another parallel dimension. (I dunno if somebody
has seen the episode of "Buffy against the Vampires". This episode was a sequel
from another episode in witch Cordelia had wiched that Buffy never went to
sunnydale, so every characters become vampires, but Buffy returns back in time
and changed the vow, so everything become normal. In this episode, we discover
that it exists a Sunnydale where everybody is vampires, in a parallel dimension
created by the vow, and those vampires come in our dimension, so every
character has got a vampire double...). This Scrooge has the same past than our
Scrooge, but he hasn't taken a kick in his back in 1930, and Magica and Glomgold
have stolen all he owned, so he is a bum.

The fourth I've found is in the first Picsou
Magasine, in the story "Oncle Picsou contre Tonton Soupic", originally AL 170 A
: "Zio Paperone e la guera delle conchiglie", from Rodolfo Cimino and Giulio
Chierchini". In France he is called Soupic, (does anyone know his Italian
Name?), and if he was publicated in US, he would probably be named "DucMac", or
something like that... He lives in Pearlyland[?] (Nacreland), an Island probably
in Middle America, an island where shells are considered like money, so he has a
big "Shell Bin" in form of a Giant Shell, and he thinks he is the richest man in
the World because he's got a lot of shells, in which he dives... But he goes in
Duckburg and meet Scrooge, and they fight as with Flintheart, untill a wiseman
tells them to stay in their respective countries, in which each one will be the
richest...He looks very muck like Scrooge.

The last one, from an Italian story published in PM
94, is a man who also looks very muck like Scrooge, first dressed like him. He
comes from a future dimsion in wich Earth will be a colony of another
planet...

In Barks' WUS 48, an Indian Without Face has also
briefly been a Scrooge Double because of Magica's power...

Fergus McDuck, Scrooge's Father, has been mistaken
with Scrooge in DonRosa's "Of Ducks, Dimes and Destiny".
