<DIV>The word 'Glom' is equivelent to 'grab'. So Glomgold refers to the way he chases and hoards gold. Flintheart Glomgold quite literally means that he is cruel and heartless in his persuit of money. I think Dim is reading too much into things if he finds "God" and "Darkness" in his name. </DIV>

<DIV>By the way, I agree that the Ducktales Flintheart is an entirely different character. If he lives in South Africa, it would be the most logical for him to have a British accent (although the comics give no idication of any accent, so the readers can imagine whatever they want, Scottish or otherwise.)</DIV>
