Mickey asked: > I've read, somewhere, that Clara Cluck and Panchito Pistoles > should have a love affair. Could you tell me where this is > stated or suggested? Mickey, I don't know where it might have been "suggested", but it actually did happen in the story entitled "Panchito" from Walt Disney's Comics & Stories #38. http://coa.inducks.org/coa/c1/story.php/0/W+WDC++38-03 In the story, Panchito is visiting the USA and meets Mdm. Cluck. He calls her "Chiquita" and they become enamoured of eachother. After a short while he convinces her to follow him back to his home town in Mexico. She agrees only to realize that she must hide inside a large urn (they have to sneak across the border). While in Mexico, she becomes weary of following him about and doing things the way he does them (such as the hiding in the urn, etc.). Eventually, she tells him she thinks they aren't a good match, but that she really loves Mexican food. That is basically the end of their affair, though I have been advised by another Lister (a few years back) that Chiquita and Panchito did go on to have a continued romantic relationship either in Brazilian or Italian (most likey it was Italian) comics. I have no evidence of this, though. Clara Cluck is called Chiquita in Italian and Mexican (and, I think, Spanish) comics. She is called Clara de Ovos in Brazil.
