storyteller, and Ub Iwerks the artist, that started it all. This was true for
the cartoons "Plane Crazy" and "Steamboat Willie" in 1928 and and also
for comics that began in 1930 with their story "Lost on a Desert Island".
Of course it may be justifiably be argued that Floyd Gottfredson, the
brilliant storyteller and artist, that shortly after took over on
the comics actually improved upon them. </FONT></DIV>
