Can't be. Comic strips end on Saturday or Sunday, and that was a Wednesday.

I've gotten into the habit of checking a perpetual calender before posting
starting or ending dates in "Today in Toons" (http://www.toonopedia.com/today.htm)
or my Toonopedia(tm) in general (http://www.toonopedia.com). It's amazing
how many respected reference works give dates that can't be.
