No, he come out in comics after the show. He was created around 1960 with his definitive look that can be credited to the Master animator Milt Kahl. It was necessary a long time to produce all that new footage for the TV show; we can also say that Ludwing come out in the same period of Pongo and Perdita, and was animated in the same innovative way of "101 Dalmatians" movie, using the xerox machine.<BR>
