I came across an audio interview Don Rosa gave at the Heroes Convention in Charlotte, NC back in late June. I had never heard his voice before this, so it was an interesting find. He basically talks about Carl Barks, his own art and writing skills, and Disney comics popularity in Europe and lack thereof in North America.
And you can read a preview of the book Mickey and the Gang, which publishes all the Good Housekeeping cartoon text pages of the 1930's and 40's, along with alot of other great stuff (including stuff for Gottfredson/Taliaferro fans). I won't feel so bad about not getting the $150 hardcover edition, as the article acts like there's no difference between the softcover and hardcover versions, except that the hardcover is limited to 1,000 copies. Hopefully there's a little gold leaf action going on the cover to account for the extra $120. ;)
