<P>Somewhere in one of the Gladstone issues of DuckTales, somebody from Disney confirmed this, however it only became a rule with the production of DuckTales, and Gladstone made a note to follow suit. All bets are off on any color coding prior to that show. You'll notice in some of the old cartoons they're all wearing the <EM>same</EM> color. Sometimes you'll see a color outside of those three, yellow for instance. It became more important with onset of DuckTales because of a greater need to distinguish the characters. (I daresay if you'd asked Al Taliaferro or Carl Barks which nephew that was in a given panel, they might not have always been able to tell you.) Since DuckTales, I've noticed most productions, be it animation, comic or anything theme parkish tries to follow the color code. (Although as Disney World employee, I notice the occasional slip up.)</P></FONT><FONT face="MS Sans Serif" size=2>
