<P>An interesting footnote: "penelops" is ancient Greek for (maybe) a mallard, and since those ducks were seen as very loyal and fiercely protective of the their young, it is possible the name "Penelope" came from that for the wife of Odysseus.&nbsp; (Some dispute the etymology.)</P><BR>
