Hello everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the Gemstone Publishing lens that highlights what's going on sale from May 24th through June 7th! Included on the page is information on:

* Carl Barks' Greatest DuckTales Stories, Vol. 1
* Donald Duck & Friends #340
* Mickey Mouse & Friends #289
* Vacation Parade #3
* Uncle Scrooge #354
* Walt Disney Comics and Stories #669
* Donald Duck Adventures #18
* Walt Disney Treasures: 75 Years of Innovation

You can visit <http://www.squidoo.com/gemstone_comics_thismonth> for full credits, brief reviews & summaries, and links to buy the books on Amazon or elsewhere. As before, please let me know what you think!

I'm also setting up basic pages on some creators (Barks, Scarpa, etc.). I don't intend to keep these, as I'm admittedly not an expert on the great Mouse and Duck writers and artists; I'm creating them specifically with the intention of transferring them to someone who would like to "adopt a page" on the site, but who isn't quite ready to start from scratch. I figure I'll do the hard work and then pass it along. Let me know if you think you might be interested in that! =)

My intention isn't to ignore other venues, such as the DCML biographies, listings in Wikipedia, etc. I just think that this Squidoo site seems like it could be a great way to help Americans rediscover Disney comics, and I want to take full advantage of it!
