<P>I was astounded to read from Dean Rekich's letter that there is any market for Casper the Friendly Ghost comics! I must admit that I never read any of those comic books, but the reason for that was simple: the animated cartoons from Paramount were awful! They literally had <EM>one</EM> plot which they varied endlessly to mask the repetition. This is the same group from Paramount that turned Popeye into a predictable, formulaic, and unfunny series, after the Fleischers left.</P>
<P>But it will be interesting to see if they sell!</P>
