17-year track record, circulation over 1 million, and a 4.6 percent rise in ad
sales over last year, <C>Disney</C> announced Wednesday that it will halt
publishing <I>Disney Adventures</I> magazine following the November issue. (The
current issue has -- what else? -- the cast of </FONT><A
href="http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0810900/"><FONT face="Times New Roman"
size=3>High School Musical 2</FONT></A><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3> on
the cover.) <I>Advertising Age</I> said that the company wanted "to better focus
resources and maximize long-term growth potential through new magazine and book
initiatives." </FONT></FONT></DIV>
