Interestingly, there are no stories with HDL's parents (except for Rosa's Life of Scrooge, where you see Dumbella as a child). However, there are lots of recent Egmont stories with MF's mother. What's preventing people from using HDL's parents, while they can use MF's mother?<br>
</blockquote></div><br>Probably because most Mickey stories with Morty and Ferdy do not imply that they live with Mickey full time -- they are in some stories, but not most Mickey stories, implying that when they are seen, they must just be visiting Mickey -- which further implies they must have a parent or parents they spend most of there time with. HDL are always with Donald -- implying they have no other, more primary caregiver.<br>
