<P><FONT face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">The Disney stores in the shopping malls would also seem an obvious place to promote reading through the comic books, but some years ago, when this suggestion was made for Gladstone, I was told that the Disney stores wanted absolutely nothing to do with comic books.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">Given the nature and reputation of too many comic-book stores, parents of children under 10 or 12 will not want to take them in.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">One could offer new comic stories on-line for a small subscription fee, but again, the problem remains: how would such a site be promoted?</FONT></P>
