Right before Christmas, Egmont informed us about format and scheduling changes for Donald Duck & Co in Norway.<br>
<br>
Sadly, sales numbers of Donald Duck & Co dictates Egmont will no longer publish it weekly, and changes it into a bi-weekly comic book, unless you?re a subscriber (as we still gets them weekly). I think about 70% goes to subscribers. I can get that part, but find it very sad, after all I grew up with the weekly purchase of ?Donald? in the local grocery store.<br>

I?d like to hear if this is also the situation from other countries. I?d say I hope not!<br>

Egmont also presented for us a format change, increasing the height of Donald Duck & Co with 10 mm. Can anyone tell me the background for this format change, as well as if this also occur for other countries? InDucks still lists the Donald Duck & Co as a B5-format in 2015.<br>

I taught myself the art of reading reading Disney comic books, and have no intention stop reading them now, even in my mid-forties.<br>

If I understood correctly, non-subscribers will only get to read every second<br>
issue. Very strange!<br>

Last summer, the publisher of Greek Disney comics changed, reducing the number<br>
of published titles, and increasing the size of the remaining titles, both in<br>
number of pages and in page size. This increase was not done proportionately,<br>
with the most extreme case being that of "Mickey Mouse", which became 2 cm<br>
taller, resulting in narrow horizontal margins and perhaps (I'm not quite<br>
sure) some slight vertical stretching of the content. It doesn't really affect<br>
reading the issues, but I have no idea why they did that. Perhaps they wanted<br>
to make a statement that they have nothing to do with the previous publisher.<br>
All I know is that none of the new issues fits next to the issues printed by<br>
the previous publisher!<br>
