Jag sökte i National Geographics utmärkta index över alla utgåvor sen 1888 och hittade bara två nummer från 50-talet som handlar om Sverige:

- Maj 1952: Thumbs Up Round the North Sea's Rim: Northern Europe Shows Its Human Side to Two Girl Hitchhikers Touring Youth Hostels from Sweden to France 
- Nov 1950 Baltic Cruise of the [Caribbee]
