A few questions

I don't KNOW any of this, of course (how could I since I haven't been told);
and Don will probably answer you himself soon enough; but that
"burnin'-everything-on/in-the-boat/train-in-order-to-keep-up-the-race" gag is
more'n likely as old as the steam-powered vehicle! AND Barks used that gag,
too, in (I think it was) the steamboat race on the Mississipi between $crooge
and Colonel (was that his title?) Hogg - so if Don Rosa got his idea anywhere
in particular, that might indeed have been it!
