"On a somewhat unrelated topic, I'd always thought that Don Rosa
originated the state name of "Calisota", but I'm running across
references to it in old Duckburg Times issues. Just where did this
name come from?" ...asked Mark Semich.
It was used (to my knowledge only this once) by Carl Barks in "The Gilded Man".
The Ducks are back from British Guiana, and are trying to trace Susibelle
Swan's letter across the USA, when they're told that her last adress was in
"Duckburg, Calisota" and reply "But that's our hometown!", or something to that
effect.
