Not much to say here, except someone caught my slight goof when
I asked whether my use of a single panel page at the end of "Life and
Times of $crooge McDuck" might be the first in a Disney comic... what I
meant was the first single panel page in the interior of a story. There
WERE some single panel splash pages, such as the CHRISTMAS PARADE story
someone mentioned, and the more famous splash from VACATION PARADE #1.
Still, my one-panel-page is sorta cheating since it's made up of lots of
little thought balloons coming from $crooge laying in the Bin, thinking
of his past life... sort of a remake of the last panel of "Last Sled to
Dawson". I couldn't allow myself to do a single panel page with as
little content in it as the ones in the super-hero comics. So mine is a
single panel page that has 11 little panels floating in it. (?!)
