Hey. I always LIKED "The Wonderful Whizzix". It was one of the
few MM stories that I thought stood out to me when I was lil'.
I've never said I DISliked MM... or did I? If I did, I was
exaggerating. I simply didn't get very excited about him. However, I DID
like him much, much more than all those WB or Lantz or any other "funny
animal" comics because I did NOT see Paul Murry's Mouse as so much a
"funny animal" as those others. Why wouldn't Murry's mouse be a human,
living in a house, dressing in sports clothes? It's just that the
stories were well drawn and had decent plots -- but that's not enough
for me. The characters must have personalities.
But that's ENOUGH already with the Mouse. I wouldn't have
dragged it all one step further, but I don't like to see Murry's mouse
being said to be anything worse than just bland, and I don't like to see
anybody knock the Whizzix!
