I recently purchased a copy of Uncle Scrooge #219 for cover price, and
I enjoyed the adventure. Unfortunately, my first Rosa story was "Return to
Xanadu", thus I was spoilt by the nice color and paper of the Disney Comic.
As Rosa's first duck adventure, it was very good. There were a few
faults (HDL's eyes, for example), and there were some quarter strips I would
have expanded into half strips (that is, panels which occupy half the page),
but Rosa has improved, and will continue to do so.
(Don, every artist has a learning curve before settling into a style.
Look at Jim Davis' early Garfield strips, for example. I, for one, will
continue to buy your stuff, as long as you don't get any worse.)
And thank you, Mr. Rosa. I read "The Mythological Menagerie" the other
day, and I laughed out loud when I saw Donald's "masterpiece"! I look forward
to the next Boonehead adventure!
