Sigurdur writes that he saw certain albums of the Carl Barks Library in
Color series at a comics store in Iceland, where they were priced at
about USA $20 each. He asked whether they really cost that much. No,
they don't. Individual issues generally cost about $9 each, and a
subscription to the set of 25 Donald Duck Adventures albums [you may
have seen one of these, or maybe it was one of the other album series,
such as the 51-album WDC&S series] costs $190 in the USA and $222
foreign. So you could get them from Gladstone for under half of what
they cost in that store. Is this typical of the prices charged in
Eurpoean stores for these albums?
