Always check the interlingual file first. The English name of this 
character is Hog Haid Moe. I think we agreed on not too long ago that he 
actually is a human. He certainly is no dog anyway. But doesn't he have 
three fingers? That would complicate things, I suppose...

I think this may be Ellsworth (sp?). I know Ellsworth from a french comic 
book that I have, and I think that I have seen him in a few Italian 
pocket book stories. Thus, we could have a Swedish name for him. I will 
check my Kalle Ankas Pocket during Christmas, but if anyone else feels 
like doing the job before then, I am specifically thinking about the very 
long special story about the Olympic Games in Seoul, where Mickey and the 
bird in question are trying to help Scrooge with something.
