I second that emotion. Instead of looking bright and vivid, it just 
looks dull, flat. What's more, it _feels_ wrong. I think that comes
from being your usual fastidious funnybook collector. I normally
don't touch the printed areas of interior newsprint pages, but since
there isn't a slick outer wrap on this one, I can't help it when
I hold the comic. The feeling of my hand on printed newsprint
goes against all my accumulated perceptions of what a comic book
should feel like. It's kind of a greasy feel, I think. Ick.

SOMEBODY TELL BRUCE THIS IS A *B*A*D* IDEA!!!

PS: A German friend just sent me a clipping from a Nuremberg, Germany
newspaper featuring Don's recent signing at the a bookstore thereabouts.
I'll translate the article and post it here when I get a moment in the
next few days.
