HARRY:
THANK YOU for that index. Erm, could you please give me the
address of the Disney Comics Database again? I know I`ve read
it in some digest, but I`ve already forgotten it.

> They stupidly announced "Oolated Luck" as chapter 11

I saw that, too. But I think that`s no big problem, as
everybody should be able to recognize that "Oolated Luck" is
a nice story, but has nothing to do with the Lo$!

> Hm... they should have renamed it to "Keno News" for the >
occasion...

Great idea, I wonder why they didn`t, as they`ve already had
one called "Dino News". From Kino and Dino to Keno, why not? :-

Have a look at the back cover, there they say some somewhat
like "The Ehapa Comic Collection will publish the 12 chapters
[of the Lo$] in six albums and will then continue publishing
other stories made by Don Rosa" They are other sources that say
so, too. And the albums are called "Don Rosa", the "U.S.,his
life, his billions" is just the subtitle for the first ones.

JAKOB S.:
Well, we seem to be the youngest (at least somewhat active
members) of this list. So when`s your birthday? Mine is on
October 27th in 1978. I read my first Barks comics around 1984
well, my uncle read them, and I always listened. His (Barks`,
of course) stories were my favourites already at this time,
although I heard the name of Carl Barks not until 1987, when I
started collecting Disney comics. My first stories I can
remember are "The Old Castles Secret", "Christmas for
Shacktown" and "No Such Varmint".

DANIEL:
>Maybe you want the code or a copy of the story...

It would be VERY kind of you to send me a copy of that story.
Und normalerweise ist es kein Problem fuer mich,
Niederlaendisch zu verstehen. (Translated: Usually it`s no
problem for me to understand Dutch.) If you want to have some
German stories, tell me. Here`s my address:

>Did you ever see the cartoon? [Der Fuehrer`s Face]

No, unfortunately I didn`t. I`m really interested how Disney
worked it out, and it has to be a good cartoon as it won an
Oscar.

> Copyright laws??? Which copyright laws???

Well it might have been that other countries have other laws
than we have in Germany, that`s why I mentioned it. But it
seems to be the same, so there shouldn`t be any problem.

> I think Harry didn`t mention the script-only stories...

I have an index containing those scripts, but not for those
after 1974.

DON:

Why do you think Scrooge died in 1967 or whenever it was? I
never ever read something like that in a story. Well, perhaps
we`ll have some minutes time in Germany to discuss such
things.

ALL:
You all seem to know Carl Barks personally, why don`t I? I`d
give anything to get one line of him or speak to
him for only a minute!!!

Bye, have a nice day, everybody. It`s great to be a member
of this list!
