Hello Paolo..

The total amount of PAGES Barks made is about 7000. But this includes
covers and non-Disney stories.

I just grepped the files "barks.story-index" and "barks.cover-index" for
information about amount of stories:

Stories and gags: 691
Covers: 266
(Initally) unpublished stories or parts of stories: 48
Rejected covers, cover sketches, model sheets etc.: 89

A margin should be taken because sometimes a story is listed
twice in the database, e.g. when there are different versions. But the
difference should not be more than 10.

(BTW: Don Rosa produced about 63 stories. Only 628 more to go, Don! 8-)
