David asked again about the name of that infamous Moe character:

Looking through old mailings to this list all I can find is this:

August 1994: Anders Engwall spotted an untranslated "Moe" on a sign in
a story with Moe published in Sweden.

September 1994: Andrew Davies from Australia (where some of those
stories actually have been printed in English) said that he is called
"Hard Haid Mo".

Gilbert Roser wrote that his English name is "Hog Haid Moe" and that
he got that from an Australian comic book.

Then some people called him this and some people called him that on
the list without ever being a consensus on the name or any new data.
Later Andrew said that he might have been wrong about the name.
Gilbert said from the outset that he was sure about the name, but
neither he had the comics in front of him when posting.

February 1995: Harry wrote that when he appeared in the Dutch comics
once his Dutch name means "Mister Hard Head" which seems to support
the Hard-Haid fraction.

Sorry, I don't think we have any more conclusive evidence than this.
I still haven't figured out why you'd want to do a story with Moe by
the way.
