Since no one else seems to want to respond to this one, I feel it's my duty.
What we're dealing with here is a question of copywrite law. Trademarks,
intellectual property and such. Disney is a powerful oligarchy, and I'm
risking a great deal just responding. They can step on you Chris and smash
you like a Daisy Duck egg. Be careful. A lot of folks have tried to spread
Disney images on the net, but they have been unheard of since. It's scary.
I tried to get permission to use two pages from "Christmas in Shacktown" to
use in training volunteer board members to raise money for a local charity.
Disney wrote a letter back saying the company couldn't allow it for fear
they were endorsing something. Now, were they to allow a young lover like
yourself to use a Disney image to court a young woman, they would risk
endorsing your relationship! AND all that goes with it. If you eventually
called it off, your lady friend might have legal precedent for suing Disney
Co. You can see why they fear you, Chris. And those feared by Disney, live
in fear.
Best wishes to you, my friend. Stay low. Think seriously about this
red-head. Be careful, before you tread on delicate Disney toes.
LOL,
Wes ;)
