      HARRY:
So you liked "Catman Vs. The Masked Marauder!" Thanks a lot for
the praise. I liked translating that one more than nearly any other
foreign story I've ever "Americanized." And I guess it showed.
One odd thing I've realized is that the Rosa in-joke that I added
refers to a story that was published AFTER "Catman" originally appeared
in Europe! I guess you could say I "ret-conned" "Catman" -- uh, oh,
superhero terms here, but I guess it's only appropriate.

One of the results of the 64-page comics vanishing for now may be
that Romano Scarpa's famous "Colossus of the Nile" might not appear
until summer '96 (I'm not sure). Fabio and I made it into a real
show-stopper in English. But it may be some time until you see it.
Oh, well, Scarpa's had a lot of exposure lately, anyway.

      FABIO:
I will indeed send you a copy of the finished translation of
"Colossus," but I am prevented from doing so by a post-office workers'
strike which has gone on for a LONG time. If you've sent me that NAFSK,
Mattias, that's why I haven't mentioned it -- even if it's in Edinburgh
now, I won't actually see it until the strike is over. >Sigh!< How I
look forward to that...
