DWIGHT:
> Gladstone Phase II has published Romano Scarpa's Lentils of Babylon

      Maybe you recall they've also published Rota's "Andold Wild 
Duck" (D-version of I-277, heavily condensed) and Scarpa's "Man from 
Oola-Oola."  Sometime in the next year we'll also be seeing Scarpa's 
much-requested "Colossus of the Nile," which has a translation by 
Fabio, his friend Mirko, and me.  Probably in one of the COLLECTORY 
issues (#4?  I don't know).
      Disney Comics published a Romano Scarpa Mickey and Goofy story 
as the second story in MICKEY MOUSE ADVENTURES #16.  It involves 
Goofy falling into his TV set (maybe he's only having a nightmare 
that this happens -- but actually, I think not).  Sure is 
hypocritical that Disney objected to John Lustig's magician story... 
compared to the Scarpa television story, the gritty realism of 
"Peek-A-Boo Bunny" is stark and gripping.  ;-)

HARRY:
       Now that I think about it, I guess Disney Comics' MMA, while 
not a great series, has enough interesting (if not really great) 
stuff in it to merit indexing for the Database.  In particular, Rick 
Hoover did some very good art for some of the stories.  Really, this 
comic would have actually been a good COMPANION title for Gladstone's 
MM.  As a replacement, it didn't hold water... but now, what do we 
have?  NO Mickey title, which is hardly an improvement...
      So I'll index MMA 1-13 and 15-18 when I'm back home next month.

      Your copy of my finished "Colossus of the Nile" is going off in 
the mail, at last, today.  Sorry about the delay.  You're going to 
love it!  You'll notice a few corrections made on the copy with blue 
ink.  These are a few corrections I lately sent to Gladstone (after I 
originally made the copy for you) and I wanted to wait until 
Gladstone approved them before I sent you your copy.  I wanted you to 
have a copy of what I knew they were using.
      I have news regarding your trip to California, too.  You'll 
just have to wait for a private E-Mail which you'll get in a minute!
