And that's the GREAT thing about $crooge's father's death - it wasn't 
sensationalistic. It wasn't an on-panel thing (like the Lion King).  It 
didn't happen in a fit of mindless violence or because of some mistake 
$crooge made (a la Spider-Man).  And you never really see his dead body - 
merely his feet and his body is hidden under the covers.  It was one of 
the most effective "death scenes" I have ever seen.  (Although I think it 
would have been even more effective if we hadn't had the tail-feathers of 
Mom and Pop McDuck still seen disappearing through the wall.  That would 
have brought more attention to the beam of light funneling on $crooge's 
father. A minor nit to pick, to be sure.)
